About this speaker

Activist and raconteur Kathryn Seabron is an artist, performer, choreographer, MC and ecdysiast who feels that Black women are fighting for their humanity. They are demanding to be seen, heard, valued and respected. Kathryn is the writer and performer of Angry Black Woman,  her solo show in which she chronicles misogynoir--the patent hatred of Black women--that has compelled her to shed light on the racism and sexism that infects her daily life.
